Here is a summary of the Fifth and Sixth Seals described in the book of Revelation:

The Fifth Seal (Revelation 6:9-11)

The Fifth Seal passage describes John seeing under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had given. They cried out to God asking how long He would wait before judging and avenging their blood. They were each given a white robe and told to rest a little while longer until the full number of their fellow servants and brothers were killed just as they had been. 

This seal represents the prayers of the martyrs for God's vengeance on their persecutors. It shows that Christians who have died for their faith are alive in heaven and longing for justice. God tells them to wait patiently as more believers will be killed, but judgement will eventually come. 

The Sixth Seal (Revelation 6:12-17)

The Sixth Seal describes cosmic disturbances and catastrophes that will terrorize the earth. John sees a great earthquake, the sun turning black, the moon turning blood red, stars falling to earth, the sky departing like a scroll, mountains and islands moving from their places. Everyone, from kings and generals to slaves, will try to hide themselves and call on the mountains to fall on them to protect them from the wrath of the Lamb.

This seal represents God's judgement on the wicked and the unrepentant persecutors of His people. The language of cosmic disorder and terror is symbolic of political revolutions, the overthrow of powerful oppressors, and the vindication of the righteous. God will shake the systems of the earth to bring justice. However, His enemies cannot escape His wrath.

The Fifth Seal:

- Some scholars see the martyrs as Christian martyrs killed under Roman rule. Their prayers represent the cry for God's judgement on the Roman empire which intensely persecuted Christians. 

- Others view them as Christian martyrs killed under a future end-times antichrist system. Their prayers call for God's coming wrath on the antichrist's kingdom in the end times.

- Many see this seal as applicable throughout the church age, representing all Christians martyred for their faith crying out to God for justice, now and in the future.

The Sixth Seal: 

- Historicist interpreters view the cosmic disturbances as symbolic of the political and social upheavals in the Roman empire leading to its fall. This represented God's judgement on Rome.

- Futurists see these cosmic signs as literal end-times events depicting God's wrath on the wicked at the end of the age preceding Christ's second coming.

- Idealists understand this seal as symbolic pictures representing the general principle that God will judge unrepentant persecutors throughout history. 

- Preterists believe this seal was fulfilled in the first century with the Jewish-Roman war and the collapse of Jerusalem in 70 AD. These events shook the Jewish persecutors of the early church.

Throughout history, commentators have viewed the Fifth Seal martyrs and Sixth Seal cosmic upheavals from various interpretive perspectives. However, the core themes remain - God hears His people, judges oppression, and vindicates the faithful. His justice will prevail, even amidst persecution and suffering.
